A restaurant manager fought back after two men tried to rob place in Monroe County.
Police said the men, who were wearing bandanas over their faces, went into the McDonald's on Route 209 near East Stroudsburg just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. One of the men had a gun.
The unarmed man took workers to the back of the restaurant while the man with the gun had the manager empty the safe. Police said the man with the gun got distracted while grabbing the money and put down the gun. The manager grabbed the weapon and hit the man with it. Two employees moved in to help the manager.
The two men ran out of the restaurant. It's not clear if they got any money.
No one was hurt.
