A fire that destroyed a home building business in Monroe County early Monday was no accident.
Michael Bartell, 29, of Pocono Summit is charged with starting a fire at Classic Quality Homes on Route 940 in Pocono Summit. Police said while investigating the fire they uncovered a burglary at a nearby building.
Bartell is also charged with burglary, theft and other crimes. He is locked up on $250,000 bail.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police are also investigating a fire early in the morning at a home on Tanglewood Drive in Lake Naomi. Investigators ruled that fire arson. They said the home was built by Classic Quality Homes.
