More information is coming to light about how an alleged bank robbery plot was foiled in Lycoming County.

Last week, police said an ordinary citizen tipped them off to some suspicious people outside a bank. That one call led to the arrests of three suspects.

It was last Tuesday morning and the Woodlands Bank in South Williamsport was ready to open for business.

That's when neighbor Tom Graybill got word there was someone suspicious in his backyard. He wasted no time and called police

"You can just about tell when someone's looking strange, like across the street," Graybill said.

After Graybill's phone call, police rushed right to the Woodlands Bank on West Southern Avenue and started looking for those suspects. They caught them and then proceeded to find two masks and a gun in the bushes.

Police showed off the evidence against three men they said were plotting to rob the bank when the manager arrived for work.

Investigators said Devon Grissom, Stephen Moore and Benjamin Villanueva are members of the Bloods street gang.

Following days of investigating police said Moore was spotted in surveillance video staking out the bank days before.

"I'm glad they got them. I hope they pay dearly for it. They ruin everything," Graybill added.

Police believe it was the same men involved in a robbery at the A-Plus convenience store in South Williamsport just days before the arrests.

Police credit Tom Graybill with putting officers in the right place at the right time.

"Don't hesitate to call, because you don't know what's going on. If they hurt somebody, then you say I saw that person, I could have done something. By then it's too late," Graybill said.

According to police the FBI is now involved and all three men are behind bars awaiting charges.
