A fire that destroyed a house in Lycoming County appears to have been sparked by an electrical problem.
Crews were called to a home on Walnut Street in Hughesville about 6:30 a.m. Friday. The people who live in the house woke up when they smelled smoke. They got out safely.
Investigators said the fire started in the bathroom of the home, possibly in a light fixture. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
