An elderly may was killed Tuesday in a crash in Lycoming County.
State police said Horace Hartshaw, 82, of Trout Run was driving along Route 973 northwest of Williamsport when he lost control of his car. It went off the road, down a hill and hit a tree.
Hartshaw was taken to the hospital where he later died.
