Fifty workers at Lockheed Martin in Lackawanna County will lose their jobs at the end of the month.
The company in Archbald is a military defense contractor. According to the company, the cuts are necessary to keep the company competitive. Of the 50 workers, 11 have requested voluntary separations.
In a statement released Friday the company said it is helping those worker search for new positions.
