Flames ripped through a home near Thornhurst Wednesday morning, forcing the family who lives there to find another place to stay.
The fire started about 10 a.m. at the home on Primrose Lane in Thornhurst Country Club Estates.
A neighbor who was working outside noticed smoke coming from the home and called 911. No one was inside the house at the time.
There is no word yet what caused the fire.
