Investigators said the fire that killed a man in Kingston early Saturday was an accident.
John Vitcosky, 71, did not make it out of the burning house alive.
Crews were called to the home on Carl Street just after 1 a.m. Saturday. They found flames shooting through the roof of the home. Firefighters from several communities were called in to help battle the flames. Despite that, the home was heavily damaged.
A fire marshal ruled the fire an accident but did not say how the fire started.
