Armed police officers and police dogs entered a home following the arrests of five people suspected of dealing drugs at a playground.
Police said the drug deals were going down at the jungle gym at a park in Kingston and they were caught on surveillance video.
Police said five people were arrested for dealing drugs in a park just off Hamilton Street which is named after a former Kingston police chief.
"Yeah it's our late chief. He passed away a couple of years ago. His name is right on the sign right outside the park. Obviously they don't care. They do it wherever they can get the money," said Kingston Police Captain Jon Jorda.
When asked if he knew the park was named after a former police chief one of the suspects said, "They're gonna have to name that (expletive) after me!"
Police spent part of the day gathering evidence at a home on Third Avenue in Kingston used by the suspects.
Even a drug-sniffing dog was brought in to help with that search.
Four men with ties to Philadelphia and one woman from Luzerne borough were charged with supplying drugs to a big part of Edwardsville and Kingston.
"Just about all the heroine coming over to the west side of Wyoming Valley over the last few months has been coming from this crowd," Jorda added.
The Kingston Narcotics Unit and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force had been working the undercover operation since September.
The bust netted over 300 bags of heroin, valued at $6,000, as well as $3,500 in cash.
Police said the suspects used containers with false bottoms to hide the drugs.
Investigators also found several handguns in their search of the home.
Neighbors said they are fed up with the drugs in the area.
"It's troubling. It's scary because drugs lead to other things," said neighbor Mindy Kline.
"There's two schools right behind the house here. I mean selling it around the kids isn't good," said Dave Wyborney.
Police said all of those drug deals occurred in or near a school zone and will carry maximum penalties.
The five suspects are locked up in Luzerne County jail on anywhere from $25,000 to $150,000 bail.
