A man from Monroe County is locked up, accused of shooting a man Monday night.
State police said Brian Hines, 35, of Brodheadsville and Gary Hoffer, 31, of Kunkletown got into an argument about 6:30 p.m. Monday on Lower Smith Gap Road in Carbon County. Investigators said Hines pulled out a gun and shot Hoffer in the face. He had surgery but his condition has not been released.
Hines is charged with attempted homicide and related offenses. He is locked up in the Carbon County jail.
