A Bloomsburg police officer was hurt Monday when his cruiser collided with a sport utility vehicle.
It happened about 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Park Street and aroute 11 in Bloomsburg.
Authorities said the driver of the SUV, Chad Schultz, was arrested for allegedly driving drunk. Charges are pending.
Officer Nicholas Szkodny was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
