Newswatch 16 has just received the video of the near miss that happened last week in Bloomsburg.
The video shows two people getting into a car along East Street in Bloomsburg.
The driver, Brian Fishburn, then jumps out of the way as another car crashes right into it and the car then gets pushed into the passenger.
"I realized it was drifting off the road more as I looked over each time. It was like ESP. I realized the car was going to hit me and I got out of the way," Fishburn said.
Police said this all happened early one morning last month.
Fishburn and his co-worker, Marisa Brophy had just finished the night shift at Naps Pizza. The two walked across the street to Fishburn's car when they noticed the approaching car drifting toward them.
"She just took off and went down Fifth Street. I yelled at her to stop but she took off," Fishburn added.
The video is from a nearby business and was given to Newswatch 16 by bloomutoday.com.
Police have charged Stephanie Parker of Schwenksville with reckless driving and other charges.
Nobody was seriously hurt.
Fishburn said there is about $4,000 to $5,000 of damage to his car but he is happy he and his co-worker are safe. "I just couldn't believe they just took off. They could have hurt somebody and seriously injured us and I'm just lucky they weren't going really fast," he said. "I got really upset about it because I almost got hit. I got out of the way just in time and they didn't stop."
