Challenger Basketball, Swiftwater
Children with special needs are invited to join Challenger Basketball in Swiftwater in Monroe County. It's for children ages 5 - 21 years who are still in school. Basketball games are each Sunday, through February 26, at Pocono Mountain East High School gym. Annual Ice Fishing Tournament, Tobyhanna State Park
Gouldsboro Fire Company sponsors the Ice Fishing Sunday, Feb,. 12 with registration at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and the tournament ending at 1 p.m. A dinner follows at the Gouldsboro Fire Hall (on Route 507) with prizes awarded. Tribute for the Troops, Mountain Top
Event supports the Wounded Warrior Project. Join the food, fun, music & games at Wright Twp. Fire Hall on S. Main Street in Mountain Top, Saturday, Feb. 18 from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. There'll be Tricky Tray Raffles with a special raffle of a new Yamaha acoustic guitar, along with a children's craft corner. The Kiawanis Club of Sullivan County sponsors Winterfest 2012. The event features a Polar Bear Plunge, an Ice Fishing Tournament. Sled Dog Races, art & craft vendors, family games, & hot food all day! Winterfest is held at Camp Brue', on Route 154 north of Forksville, Saturday, Feb. 18 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
