Schuylkill County athletes raise money at High School Football Challenge

Athletes raised $27,000 for the Schuylkill United Way Nurse's Pantry program.

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — In 2017, Schuylkill United Way began a High School Football Challenge.

They struggled to get 150 people to show up.

Fast forward five years, that’s no longer the case.

This week, Landon Stolar stopped by this year’s challenge at North Schuylkill High's Ghosh Orthodontics Field at Spartan Stadium near Ashland to find out why this unique event is getting so much support.

Congratulations BLUE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL !! And, a HUGE thank you to all who helped us raise $27,000 tonight!! This money stays right here in Schuylkill County 💛 All winners will be posted tomorrow 👏🏼
