Fatal crash victim identified in Northumberland County

The victim of a crash that closed a busy road Monday morning in Northumberland County has been identified.

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A deadly crash closed a road in Northumberland County Monday morning.

A tractor-trailer and a car collided around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 61 and 890 in Upper Augusta Township, near Sunbury.

Police say Rodney Brosious failed to stop at a stop sign before pulling onto Route 61 from Route 890.

He died at the scene.

Route 61 was closed in that area. It was reopened by 1 p.m. Monday.
