NANTICOKE, Pa. — Crews are working to fix a water main break in Luzerne County.
Because of the problem, Luzerne County Community College is closed.
Pennsylvania American Water crews say the break is located along Route 11 in West Plymouth and is affecting the Nanticoke, Newport Township, and Glen Lyon areas.
Water tankers will be available at the following locations in Nanticoke beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday:
- Weis Market, 1 Weis Plaza
- Nanticoke Fire Department, 2 East Ridge Street
- Guardian Eldercare, 147 Old Newport Street
An additional tanker is located at Ken Pollock Apartments at 41 Depot Street in Glen Lyon.
Customers are asked to bring their own containers.
Homes and businesses may have low pressure, discolored water, or no water.
