THROOP, Pa. — The coroner confirms one person is dead after a crash near Mid Valley High School.
Two cars collided shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday along Underwood Road in Throop.
According to the coroner, 57-year-old Virginia R. Randazzo from Bridgewater, NJ died in that crash.
Investigators spent hours reconstructing the scene.
There is no official word yet on what caused that deadly crash in Lackawanna County.
