SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Human remains were discovered in Lackawanna County.
According to the coroner, a single human bone was found Wednesday by someone walking in a wooded area near Griffin Pond reservoir in Scott Township.
On Thursday, officials searched the area where they found additional remains, including camouflage pants.
The coroner believes the remains may have been there for over a year.
