COVID-19 update: Nearly than 2,400 new cases statewide

The Department of Health is reporting 1 new death in Pennsylvania related to the coronavirus.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The Pennsylvania Department of Health lists 2,389 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,297,119 on Monday, August 30.

There was 1 new death identified by the Pennsylvania death registry. The statewide total of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is 28,214, according to the department.
